AtomicOrbit

Privacy policy · Last updated: October 10, 2026

AtomicOrbit is a word game by Forjait (forjait.com): a clue for every letter of the alphabet. This policy explains what data the app uses, why, and your choices. In short: no sign-up, no name, email or phone number (for the rankings, just a nickname you choose, if you want), and your progress is stored on your own phone.

Data kept on your phone

Coins, Antimatter, hints, words answered right, daily challenge streak, language, chosen country, slang packs, your recovery code if you created one, the “Pass the phone” game with its last group's names and sound, vibration, clock and daily reminder settings. They stay on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app; “Reset progress” deletes your coins, words answered right and streaks, but doesn't lower your ranking points.

To suggest your country the first time, the app looks at the phone's language and time zone: this happens on the phone and isn't sent. If you turn on the daily reminder, your own phone schedules it, without going through our server.

Data our server receives

To download new words, run the rankings and understand how the game is used, the app identifies itself with a random anonymous code created at install time (not linked to your name, account or phone number) and sends:

Like any web server, ours processes your IP address to respond, prevent abuse and in short-lived technical logs. We don't use it to identify you.

The daily orbit on the web

The daily orbit can also be played in the browser, at juegos.forjait.com/atomicorbit/en, with nothing to install. The page uses no cookies and no ads and doesn't ask for a nickname. It keeps in your browser (in its local storage) the day's orbit and your answers, your streak and stats, the country you picked and an anonymous code. To suggest your country it looks at the browser's language and time zone, without sending them.

With that anonymous code, the page sends our server: the platform ("web"), its version, the browser's language and the country you picked; the days you open it; your daily orbit result (how many letters you got right and how long it took); and when the buttons to get the app are shown or tapped, which we keep only as daily totals. With the results we show how everyone and each country did that day, as totals and averages, with no names. The page's font comes from Google Fonts and, on Windows, the flags come from jsDelivr, so those services receive your IP address when they're downloaded.

Rankings

If you choose a nickname, you appear on the game's rankings (world, your country and your friends) with that nickname, your country and your points, which other players can see. Don't use your real name if you'd rather not. Nicknames are checked: offensive ones are refused, and any player can report one, which we may delete. To leave the rankings, use Settings → Delete my data.

Recovering your nickname

If you reinstall the game or change phones, you can get your nickname, points and friends back. On the same phone, the game recognizes it through an encrypted fingerprint of the identifier Android or iOS gives the app on that phone. On another phone, you get them back with a recovery code: we keep only a fingerprint of the code, not the code. If you send it to yourself by WhatsApp or email, that happens on your phone and we don't see where you send it. The code keeps working until you create a new one.

Live party

In a live party, several players answer the same clues at the same time, one letter per round, each on their own phone. For it to work, our server keeps for each room: the words its creator chose, each player's nickname (or the team's name, when a team shares a phone), whether whoever leads let them in, turned them away or removed them, their answers (whether they got the word right, at which attempt and how long it took) and the last time their phone asked for the room, to know who is still connected. Everyone in the room sees the others' nicknames and points.

To show parties nearby, the room also keeps an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address it was made from, which can't be used to see that address: the room, with its creator's nickname, is shown to whoever opens the game from the same connection (the same Wi-Fi).

Rooms, with their players, answers and fingerprint, are deleted 24 hours after they were made. Only daily totals are kept (how many rooms and players there were), with no data about you. On your phone, the game keeps the code of the last party you joined, to offer you to go back if the game closed; it's deleted when you leave the party or when it ends. “Pass the phone” is played only on your phone: the names you type and the game aren't sent.

Purchases

You can buy Antimatter, the welcome pack and “Remove ads” in the game. They're optional: the whole game can be played without paying. Payment is handled by Google Play with your Google account or, on iPhone, by the App Store with your Apple account; we never see your card or payment details, only the purchase receipt.

If you change or lose your phone

Your progress, coins, hints and Antimatter, including the Antimatter you bought, are kept only on your phone: we don't have a copy. If you uninstall the game, clear its data, reset the phone, lose it or change it, they're lost and we can't give them back. Only these come back:

Keep your recovery code. Only you have it: we keep a fingerprint that can't be used to see it or create it again. If you lose it and change phones, we can't check that the nickname is yours and we don't guarantee getting it back. Don't share it either: whoever has it can take your nickname, points and friends to their phone.

Refunds are requested from Google Play or Apple, under their policies. This doesn't limit the rights your country's consumer law gives you.

Ads

The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect the device advertising ID, IP address and technical data to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), the app asks for your consent through Google's tool before using personalized ads. Learn more about how Google uses data in advertising. Where it applies, you can change your consent in Settings → Ad privacy options, and reset or limit your advertising ID in your phone settings.

What we use it for

To run the game (words and clues, daily challenge, how your country did, your country's slang, the live party, the rankings and recovering your nickname), verify purchases, fix reported words, know how many people play, learn how the game's promotions do and fund the app with ads and purchases. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone other than Google for ads.

How long we keep it

Data tied to the anonymous code is kept while the game is active and, apart from the rankings, only used in aggregate. Reports are kept until reviewed. Live party rooms are deleted after 24 hours. Purchase receipts are kept as long as accounting and refunds require. Uninstalling the app deletes the code from your phone; if you had a nickname, your nickname, points and friends stay on the rankings so you can get them back. If you don't want them to stay, use “Delete my data” before uninstalling.

Your choices

You can delete your data at any time (see How to delete your data), erase your progress with “Reset progress” in Settings or stop sending data by uninstalling the app. For any question, email atomic.juegos@forjait.com.

How to delete your data

What is kept: the daily totals of the promotions, which hold no data about you; purchase receipts, no longer linked to your install, for accounting and refunds; and the server's technical logs, which are deleted automatically within a few weeks. If you can't use the button, email atomic.juegos@forjait.com.

Children

AtomicOrbit is not directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll publish the new version on this page with its update date.
