AtomicWord is a word-guessing game by Forjait (forjait.com). This policy explains what data the app uses, why, and your choices. In short: no sign-up, no name, email or phone number, and your progress is stored on your own phone.
Coins, solved words, daily challenge streak, language, chosen country, slang packs and sound and vibration settings. They stay on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app or use “Reset progress”.
To download new words and understand how the game is used, the app identifies itself with a random anonymous code created at install time (not linked to your name, account or phone number) and sends:
Like any web server, ours processes your IP address to respond, prevent abuse and in short-lived technical logs. We don't use it to identify you.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect the device advertising ID, IP address and technical data to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), the app asks for your consent through Google's tool before using personalized ads. Learn more about how Google uses data in advertising. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your phone settings.
To run the game (words, daily challenge, your country's slang), fix reported words, know how many people play and fund the app with ads. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone other than Google for ads.
Data tied to the anonymous code is kept while the game is active and only used in aggregate. Reports are kept until reviewed.
You can stop sending data by uninstalling the app, and erase your progress with “Reset progress” in Settings. To have the data linked to your install deleted, or for any question, email contacto@forjait.com.
AtomicWord is not directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes, we'll publish the new version on this page with its update date.
